the general structure of the song was unchanged IIRC so it was just like. "take me to New York I want to see~ L.~ A.~" followed by a straight minute of some Silent Hill type shit that was at once baffling and deeply compelling

orthogonal to the purpose of the software, but imo this also (again) demonstrates that when not used as a plagiarism machine, AI can make some pretty great things by virtue of just being a janky weird pattern-spotting machine. Like that “fails to mimic artist” thumbnail is far, far more interesting than any successful attempt to copy the artist would’ve been
